Leaflet printing

A leaflet is an extremely effective consumable promotional material, which we usually use in trade activities, tourism, at info points, for trade shows, in short everywhere, where there is a greater flow of people and when we have fresh information about what we do.

What is good to know before printing leaflets?

Price of printing a leaflet

The price of printing a leaflet depends on many factors, primarily on quantity, format, type of folding and additional processing, such as laminating or offset varnishing.

As in other printed matter, the price of one piece reduces in relation with quantity.

Special features of leaflet formats

Leaflets are specified with two different formats. The open format marks its dimensions (width * height), when it is open/unfolded, while the closed format defines the format in folded form.

Files preparation

Files need to be prepared according to certain rules. It is best, if an expert prepares them. Special attention needs to be given to the proper format, the text shouldn’t be placed on the fold and should have a 5-mm margin.

Information required in an enquiry

With quantity, you state how many leaflets you wish to print.

We state the open and closed format. The open format marks its dimensions (width * height), when it is open/unfolded, while the closed format defines the format in folded form.

Also define the desired fold. We know a number of different folds and some classic and most common examples are presented on this page (above).

When stating the format, please specify whether it’s a portrait or landscape.
In the EU, we usually state formats in the following fashion: Width x Height. Example: 210 x 297 mm (portrait A4 format).

The English use their own method for naming the format: Height x Width (reverse), this is why it is important to also state if it’s a portrait or landscape in words.

Choose the desired paper for your leaflet and specify its weight.
Usually, our customers decide on Gloss or Matt coated paper, depending on the desired effect of the flyer.

Example: 130-gram Silk paper.

Determine packaging, several options are available.

With leaflets, customers usually choose packing in boxes.

In larger qunatities, boxes are placed on a pallet and properly protected.

Printed matter may be picked up (Ex works), but we also organize transportation, if needed.
